Program Coordination Committee

The Program Coordination Committee is responsible for the overall coordination of the Program. Its duties include establishing the Program’s operating guidelines and the criteria for selecting new students, as well as reviewing proposed research projects and processing applications for financial support. This Committee is composed of the Coordinator, their Deputy, and four Permanent Faculty Members of the Program:

  • Prof. Roberto Kalil Filho, MD, PhD – Deputy Coordinator

  • Prof. Luiz Antonio Machado César, MD, PhD – Regular Member

  • Prof. Francisco Rafael Martins Laurindo, MD, PhD – Alternate Member

  • Prof. Antonio Augusto Barbosa Lopes, MD, PhD – Alternate Member

  • Prof. Raul Dias dos Santos Filho, MD, PhD – Alternate Member

  • Priscilla Griffo – Student Representative (Regular Member)

  • Maurício Tavares Costa – Student Representative (Alternate Member)

PROEX Management Committee

The PROEX Management Committee is responsible for establishing the criteria for granting scholarships. This Committee is composed of the Program Coordinator (Chair), a Faculty Representative, and a Student Representative:
