The Graduate Program in Cardiology is supported by scholarships from CAPES/PROEX, in accordance with their own guidelines.

Criteria and requirements for scholarship awards.

Students must submit their scholarship application preferably during the enrollment period, using the specific form and submitting it to the Program’s administrative office.

The Program’s PROEX Management Committee is responsible for the selection, awarding, and monitoring of scholarship recipients.

For PROEX Program scholarship holders, participation in a teaching internship under the Teaching Improvement Program (PAE) is mandatory. This is an integral part of the graduate student’s training, aiming to prepare them for academic teaching and contribute to the quality of undergraduate education.

CAPES, through specific calls for proposals, offers scholarships for PhD students to carry out part of their thesis work at foreign institutions.

Among the specific programs, students may apply for the Institutional Program for Sandwich Doctorate Abroad (PDSE) through CAPES.

The University of São Paulo, through partnerships with foreign institutions involved in research projects, also promotes mobility for PhD students, enabling them to prepare their thesis with a dual degree objective.

Information on CAPES Ordinance No. 206, dated September 4, 2018, establishes the requirement for citing CAPES in publications.
