The enrolled student may be dismissed from the course in the following cases:

  • If they fail the same subject twice or fail three different subjects;
  • If they do not enroll regularly for two consecutive academic periods within the deadline established in the academic calendar set by CoPGr;
  • If they do not pass the qualification exam within the deadlines established in this Regulation;
  • If they fail to comply with activities or requirements within the stipulated deadlines;
  • At the request of the student.
  • According to the Program Regulations, in addition to the rules established in the USP Graduate Program Regulations, the student may be dismissed from the graduate program, in any of the courses (PhD and Direct PhD), if any of the following situations occur:
  1. Failure of the annual activity report twice consecutively;
  2. Failure to submit the annual report by the deadline established in the annual calendar, published by the graduate secretary and on the program’s website.
