28/04/2025Prof. Dr. Rochitte is elected president of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance
Prof. Dr. Carlos Eduardo Rochitte, professor of the cardiology program at FMUSP and cardiologist in the area of Magnetic Resonance and Computed Tomography at the Heart Institute (InCor), creator and responsible for the internship and training in cardiovascular resonance and tomography at InCor, was elected president of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR), which is the international society of cardiovascular magnetic resonance, headquartered in the United States.
In addition to working in the area of Diagnostic Imaging, he is also the Medical Director of the Scientific Committee of InCor. The inauguration took place at the 28th Annual Scientific Session of the SCMR, which took place between January 29 and February 1 in Washington, DC, in the United States.
Also, for the first time in history, the SCMR Annual Congress will be held outside the United States and Europe and will take place in Rio de Janeiro, from February 4 to 7, 2026.
